Experience has been gained from working with Argos, Smyths Toys, Toy’s R US, Goodyear Tyres, Brands Hatch Leisure Group, The Guardian, News International, Gallagher International, TSO, amongst other blue-chip clients. Freelance Graphic Designer – Sept 99 – Present Day

Designing, brochures, posters, leaflets, catalogues, packaging, booklets, International Advertisements and POS. Responsible for arranging print, quotations, estimates, copy writing, pagination, colour repro, image manipulation, typesetting, translations and designing corporate identities.

Madison Bell Media – Senior Graphic Designer – Sept 06 – Sept 09

Madison Bell Media was an award winning advertising agency, which lists Blue Chip companies such as The Guardian, Legal Service Commission, News International, HSBC and Chelsea Building Society as some of their clients. Design a variety of media, ranging from leaflets, posters to full page broad-sheet advertisements and marketing campaigns. Image acquisition/copywriting. Manage traffic flow, from receiving initial request to distribution to staff.

Liaise directly with clients, printers, account managers and production; acting as the main point of contact. Execute each project from start to finish, taking client briefs and delegating tasks as required. Demonstrate quality control skills including checking of proofs, to negotiating print costs and invoicing. Consistently perform to very tight deadlines, producing a high level of design. As the senior member of the team, I have overall responsibility for quality control, which includes spot checking and on occasion, proofing design output.

UKAMS – Creative Mac Operator – June 04 – September 06

UKAMS is a short term agency that purchase ‘last minute’ space available in various national publications. Therefore it was imperative that I worked accurately and efficiently at all times. Duties included designing packaging, promotional material and advertisements to be placed in all major publications. Role included repro, image manipulation and colour correction and typesetting. Creating PDF files for client approval, sending advertisement to the publication via ISDN, ADS, AdExpress and Quick cut/Adstream or Vio.

Charles Tyrwhitt – Artworker – Dec 03 – June 04

Working as a member of the in-house design team, my responsibilities included designing mailers, shop window graphics, photographic colour correction and designing, editing and proofing of the Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts Company catalogues.

SAA Design Group – Trainee Designer/receptionist – Sept 99 – Sept 00

Assisted in the design of promotional material, the design of ambient media advertisements for client’s campaign promotions and designing promotional materials for commercial organisations. Demonstrated a good telephone manner when liaising with clients.
